About Building Control

Building Control is designed to ensure basic minimum standards are maintained in building construction and renovation in order to ensure that all existing and new buildings are safe, healthy, accessible and habitable for present and future generations. Building Control is carried out with the developers/owners to provide a high-quality service and to make sure that all building works are satisfactorily carried out. Building Control also ensures Material Testing is carried out to ascertain the quality of building material used for construction works.
